The Need
A retailer of Tampa Bay Buccaneers items wanted to increase sales of its Bucs merchandise, which was only available in its brick-and-mortar shop. This store turned to Digiscribe to develop an online solution that would sell more products and also generate awareness of the company.

The Digiscribe Solution
Digiscribe created BucsStore.com, a secure e-commerce solution that allows Buccaneers fans to buy football memorabilia 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Shoppers can browse through BucsStore.com's entire inventory and view thumbnail images of each product. Personalized shopping carts lets customers add or remove merchandise and specify preferences, including size, color and quantity. BucsStore.com saves customers' contact information, so returning shoppers need only a login name and password to continue shopping or check the status of existing orders.

In addition, a user-friendly catalog system enables suppliers to easily add and remove merchandise. Other extensive features were built to the administrative section including: an Order manager system to find out the summary and status of each order; a Shipping manager to calculate regular shipping prices, along with next day and 2nd day delivery; a Coupon manager which allows the vendor to issue special discounts when an item is purchased through the web site; and a News manager to control the content that appears on the main page of the site.
